Advanced Parole

Do you need to travel to your country of birth to visit family or for some type of emergency? You may be able to receive Advanced Parole. Advance parole is issued solely to authorize the temporary parole of a person into the United States. You may be eligible for Advanced Parole if:

  • You have applied to adjust status to a Lawful Permanent Resident
  • You are presently under Temporary Protected Status
  • You are presently under Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals

If you are in any of these categories, you may be eligible for Advanced Parole. Advanced Parole allows you to visit family in your country which may be absolutely necessary if they are ill or elderly. Advanced Parole will also provide you with lawful entry into the United States, which may be beneficial if you previously entered the United States without documentation. If you believe you may be eligible for Advanced Parole, it is recommended you speak with an experienced immigration attorney. Contact Dorsett Immigration Law today for your free consult.
